Professional referrals

Due to changes in funding, our suicide prevention service is no longer commissioned by the NENC ICB across Durham. Referrals are now managed exclusively via charitable funding.

This affects availability for GP aligned services or any other NHS services. Due to this, referrals are subject of accessibility and suitability processes.

As of 02/01/25 we will no longer be able to accept any prevention based hospital discharge referrals.

This is due to a cessation of hospital discharge funding from 31/03/25. We can then only continue to provide support for those engaged prior to 31/12/24. Any individuals who are still engaged with us after 31/03/25 will still continue to be supported by IUCSF funding.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this change may cause.
