What do you do at If U Care Share?
Support Coordinator. My colleagues and I are the first people that someone either in crisis or having suffered a tragic loss speak with on the telephone. To be there to offer reassurance, help and support is so rewarding.

Why did you join If U Care Share?
After retiring from my life career I felt I had so much more to offer and to help others. I am a good listener and actually feel if I can support others when they are in need, I have achieved my purpose in life. I will continue to help people as long as I am able. I am unbelievably proud to work for this selfless outstanding charity that I have followed since it began.

If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I would love to be somewhere surrounded by the sea, my peaceful place. Being in a sea hut in The Maldives would be my dream. If I was to swim with dolphins in the wild, that would be the ultimate. Not so much the sharks mind...

What are some things that make you happy?
I am happy when I am surrounded by happiness, laughter, friends and family. I love to laugh! Being around nature, whether that be in the lakes, a forest or water brings me comfort and peace.

What is your favourite biscuit and why?
Im not really a lover of a biscuit, however if I had to choose then I would select a Jaffa cake.... it's very topical on the cake or biscuit discussion. I love a good debate. Love the softness of it and the zingy jam layer. One is most definitely not enough...

Anything else you would like to share with the world?
Always know that life can improve if you ride the storm.
